Ever wondered what it’s like behind the scenes of a busy busy bakery? Well here’s a peek.

It’s fluffy & pink & faster-paced than you would have imagined. There are drawers filled with fondant, scraps of the past, ideas for the future, bows & baseballs & petals & swirls. There are stacks of cake pans, piled into pyramids, waiting to be filled. Bushels of berries, stacked on the counter, are sliced with precision & speed, sliced & tossed into bowls until they’re brimming with red. There are barrels of icing, as big as my body, & bags of flour twice the size.

But most of all? It’s a place filled with fun––lots of laughs & a whole bunch of joy.
