Last weekend we celebrated Ben’s birthday with a weekend trip to Chicago, a city I can now call one of my favorites. We stayed with some cousins in the area, who gave us a fabulous architectural “lobby tour,” winning us over with Frank Lloyd Wright and Art Deco everything. I was wowed from the beginning by how clean the city was despite its size, and how much green space was sprinkled throughout the streets. We gorged on ethnic food and brunch, and finished off the weekend with a rain-soaked Coldplay concert that was utterly unforgettable. Chicago, we love you.
