Feeling: A little miffed. I had just finished a nice, big post for you, cheri, when WordPress dumped me & deleted my work. (I know, I know, that’s what I get for not backing it up.) So, here’s this heartwarming photo instead –– something to look at for you, & something for me, to lift my spirits.

Cheri, meet David. He’s sleeping on a cot tonight in a big open room with anywhere from 20 to 40 other guys, with the sweetest demeanor I’ve ever encountered but not much else he can claim (at least not materially). As we crawl into bed tonight, let’s remember all that we have. In about a month, my friend will be back out on the streets. That is, until we raise enough support for a shelter in this town.
