Well, cheri, it’s my last week in Johannesburg, & between all the business of tying loose ends & scratching through lists, I hardly know what to think. I’m full of joy for the reunion of family & friends. Sad for the friends left behind. Curious to see what the future will hold. Grateful for this chapter I’m about to put in my past.

But above all, I’m feeling oh-so-excited for summer. I’ve had enough of peacoats & penguins.
